Introduction
Primus is a turn-based tactical Roman gladiator RPG that puts players in charge of a Roman gladiator Ludus. Players must lead their squad of fighters through hazardous arena circuits. Encounters in each excursion include turn-based combat, chaotic crowd events, rival gladiators, deadly animals, and enduring implications.Selecting the proper governing board can define the spirit and the strategic assets of your fighting academy.
Players will be able to recruit, level up, gear up, and line-up their gladiators from a range of class specialization’s and traits. Glory brings advancement, as does pain; scars, grave injury and even death carry repercussions that ensure the survival of your fighters is never a certainty, even after they have secured a win. You’ll want to defeat fierce creatures and a series of Gatekeeper bosses to earn your way towards true Gladiator glory.

Gameplay
Participants select a faction and Head of House; then recruit gladiators for their Ludus. Fighters’ distinct class types, abilities, strengths and weaknesses create team composition and position critical to combat. Battles take place along arena circuits comprising fights, events, rest opportunities and raising danger levels; the spectators will either enhance, penalize or ignore the ongoing melee based on its progress.
